With star bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Jofra Archer sidelined due to injuries, Akash Madhwal, previously unrecognized, has seized the opportunity to showcase his talent and shine brightly.

Last year, Akash Madhwal joined the Mumbai Indians as a replacement for an injured player, but his opportunities were limited to practice matches. However, this season, captain Rohit Sharma recognized his potential and provided him with an opportunity to perform on the grand stage.
