Ashwin, who suffered from corona, could not go to England with the team

The Indian cricket team is on a tour of England. Star spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was supposed to go to England with the team. But he was infected with coronavirus before the trip. So Rohit-Kohli has gone to England to play a full series without this spinner.
Everything was fine. But before leaving India on June 16, Ashwin tested positive for corona during a routine test at the airport. He is currently in quarantine. If everything is normal, he will go to England. India is hopeful of getting Ashwin in the Test at Edgbaston from July 1.

A source in the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) told PTI, “Ashwin did not go to the UK with the team as he was corona positive before leaving the country. “But we are hopeful that he will recover before the Test match on July 1. However, the preparation match against Leicestershire may not be played. ’
