Speaking to an Indian media outlet, Khan commenced by singling out Bangladesh as one of his standout choices. He then confidently highlighted India’s prowess, asserting its strong likelihood of securing a spot in the semi-finals. Delving further into team analysis, the former Bangladesh player expressed his confidence in Australia’s prowess, underscoring their well-rounded team and solid potential to advance to the semi-final stage. As for the fourth semi-final spot, Khan mentioned two contenders, Pakistan and England.

Sharing his perspective, Khan stated, “I have already told you about Bangladesh. India will surely make it. Australia too has a very good team. They have quality all-rounders and some very good fast bowlers. And in batting, they bat deep and have powerful strikers. These are the three teams I will pick, and then it could be either Pakistan or England,” in response to a query about the potential semi-finalists.
