Bangladesh’s series win against India

There are several instances of Bangladesh losing to win against India on the world stage. Whether it was the 2016 T20 World Cup or this year’s T20 World Cup, the Tigers have missed out on the match they won against India. However, that was not the case in the ongoing ODI series. The Tigers have won the three-match series by winning the first two matches.
After winning the first match by one wicket at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, they won by 5 runs today. India managed to score 266 runs in the target of 272 runs given by Bangladesh.

Earlier, Bangladesh scored 271 runs for 7 wickets in 50 overs. Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Mahmudullah Riyad saved Bangladesh from embarrassment after losing six wickets for 69 runs. Mahmudullah returned with 77 runs off 96 balls, but Miraz hit the first century of his ODI career. Miraz remained unbeaten on 100 off just 83 balls with the help of 4 fours and 8 fours.
