He currently secures the fifth spot in the most recent rankings unveiled by the ICC. Notably, Gill has surged by two positions, achieving a career-best rating of 743. He is inching closer to the Pakistani duo—Fakhar Zaman in the third spot (755) and Imam-ul-Haq in the fourth (745). Moreover, it’s worth mentioning that Pakistan’s skipper, Babar Azam, remains within striking distance. Babar occupies the pinnacle of the rankings with 886 points. Ishan Kishan concluded the ODIs as the top-scorer with 184 runs in three matches, averaging 61.33 with a strike rate of 111.52. Shubman Gill compiled 126 runs across three innings, achieving an average of 42 and a strike rate of 80.25.

Kuldeep Yadav and Shardul Thakur have experienced notable advancements in the ODI bowler’s rankings. Kuldeep has gained four positions, securing a place among the top 10 bowlers in ODIs, largely attributed to his impressive haul of seven wickets in the series.
