India lost the wicket of opener Lokesh Rahul for 11 runs after winning the toss at the Sydney Cricket Ground in Australia on Thursday.
Captain Rohit Sharma made a partnership of 73 runs with Virat Kohli for the second wicket. Before that, Rohit scored 53 runs from 39 balls with the help of four boundaries and 3 sixes. Former captain Virat Kohli remained unbeaten with 62 runs off 44 balls with three fours and two sixes.

Suraiya Kumar Yadav started batting at the number four position. He scored an unbeaten 51 off 25 balls with seven fours and one six. Rohit-Kohli and Suraiya’s fifties made India score 179 for 2 wickets. Chasing the target, the Netherlands lost wickets at regular intervals from the start of the innings and finally managed to score 123 runs by losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. India won by 56 runs.
