India vs England
Who will win India vs England 1st T20I?
England will conclude their limited overs leg of their tour to India with a three-match T20I series. The first of these matches will be played on January 26 at the Green Park, Kanpur. Live action is scheduled to start at 4:30 PM local time.
Toss
This is going to be Green Park’s first ever T20I. The venue has seen plenty of tests and ODIs in the past and the wicket here is generally known to be a batsman’s paradise. Not much support is expected for the bowlers and so the toss-winning team may prefer to bat first. We suggest betting on the hosts if they bat first as they won the last two times they had batted first at this ground in the 50-overs format.

England’s win over India in the final ODI is going to make them more confident ahead of this match.
India will miss Ashwin and Jadeja – their two key spinners who were the most effective against the English batsmen.
India have emerged as a dangerous side in T20 cricket and they won 15 of their 20 matches last year.
India vs England Head to Head
England have the upper hand in terms of head-to-head statistics as they have beaten India five times out of eight in T20Is – a win percentage of 62.50. The two most recently played matches at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and the Edgbaston in Birmingham have both been won by the visiting side.
India vs England 1st T20 Prediction
All the three matches in the ODI series were close encounters and one can expect even closer finishes in the upcoming T20I series. The fickle nature of this format will make the contests more exciting and neither of the two teams will be starting as overwhelming favorites.
England looked a completely transformed unit in the ODIs and they will be a lot more formidable in the T20Is. Plus, the win in the last game and the fact that there will be no Ashwin and Jadeja to counter will make the Englishmen much more confident. But since India have had much better results in this format than England over the last year or so, we feel the hosts have a slightly better chance to start the series off with a win.
