‘Kohli will regain aggression-confidence in a big innings’

Former India captain Virat Kohli is not able to score big in any international or franchise league due to lack of form. However, a big or a century innings can change the formless Kohli, feels former captain Mohammad Azharuddin. According to him, all cricketers have a bad time and so does Kohli. However, in a big century, Kohli will become aggressive-confident.
Kohli has not had a bat hundred since November 2019. He is even suffering from run-scoring. Kohli, the owner of 70 centuries, scored 841 runs in his last 17 innings of Tests since 2020 with six half-centuries. He has scored 702 runs in 18 ODI innings with nine half-centuries. In T20Is, Kohli scored 663 runs in 22 innings with 6 half-centuries.

When he did not score a century in international cricket, Kohli dreamed of a big score in the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). But he failed there too. In the just-concluded IPL, Kohli scored 341 runs in 16 matches at an average of 22.73. As a result, Kohli’s failure with the bat has become even heavier.
