However, he considers the responsibility of a team in a mega tournament like IPL to be a big challenge.

Pandit said, “It is a great honor for me, but also a great responsibility. I learned about the KKR family culture. I have full confidence in the talent of the team’s players and coaching staff. I am looking forward to working with them. Chandrakant Pandit was the wicket-keeper batsman in his career. He played five Tests and 36 ODI matches for India from 1986 to 1992. After that Pandit focused on a coaching career. Under him, Mumbai (2003 and 2004) and Vidharba (2018 and 2019) won the title in two consecutive years. In all, he won six Ranji trophies as a coach.
