Mushfiqur is once again on the ICC’s best list of monthly

Mushfiqur Rahim scored a century in two consecutive Tests against Sri Lanka at home. Mushfiqur has scored 303 runs in two Tests of the Sri Lanka series. This time the wicket-keeper batsman of Bangladesh got another recognition for that success.
He has made it to the ICC’s short list of the best of the month of May. Mushfiqur’s two rivals on the shortlist announced on Monday are Sri Lankans. They are Angelo Mathews and Asitha Fernando. Both of them played great on the Bangladesh tour.

Mushfiqur became the first Bangladeshi to reach the 5,000-run milestone in the Test in Chittagong. Played superb innings of 175 runs. Mushfiqur-Liton scored a record 272 for the sixth wicket in that Test.

Mushfiqur also played great in Dhaka. He played an innings of 105 runs to pull Bangladesh out of a batting disaster. However, Bangladesh lost the match.

This is not the first time Mushfiqur. Earlier, he had won the ICC Player of the Month award for the first time in May last year.
