The countdown to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 intensifies as the warm-up game schedule is revealed by the ICC. This pre-tournament phase aims to prepare teams for the main event, and Pakistan’s warm-up schedule is now available, providing details about the fixtures, match timings, and venues.

Ahead of the official commencement of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 league stage on October 5, warm-up matches are set to take place in three different cities over a span of four days. These practice games offer each team a valuable opportunity to fine-tune their strategies before the tournament kicks off.

The warm-up matches are slated to occur on September 29, September 30, October 2, and October 3. The host cities for these matches are Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, and Guwahati.

The ten warm-up matches are strategically distributed across the three host cities. Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram will each host four matches, while Hyderabad will accommodate two.

Pakistan’s warm-up matches promise intense competition as they face off against two formidable adversaries: Australia and New Zealand. The practice games will not only enable teams to adapt to the playing conditions but also provide a platform for a thrilling display of cricketing prowess.

Unlike official One Day Internationals, the warm-up matches allow teams to deploy their complete 15-member squads. This flexibility aims to facilitate comprehensive preparation for the challenges of the World Cup.

Both of Pakistan’s warm-up encounters are scheduled to be held at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The team will first take on New Zealand on September 29 and subsequently engage in a showdown against Australia on October 3.

Both warm-up matches involving Pakistan are set to begin at 2 pm local time, ensuring a fair and consistent timing for both teams.
