National team cricketer Al Amin was sued by his wife Ishrat Jahan on allegations of torture and dowry demands. The court has framed charges against Al Amin in that case. As a result, the trial of that case officially started. On Sunday (March 5), Dhaka’s Women and Children Torture Suppression Tribunal-8 judge Begum Mafroza Parveen was scheduled to hear the complaint. On this day, Al Amin appeared in court and declared himself innocent. After the hearing, the judge ordered the filing of charges against him. April 9 has been fixed for the witness. His wife filed three cases against Al Amin.

Finally, on November 16 last year, Israt filed a case in Dhaka’s first senior assistant judge Begum Kaniz Tanya Rupa’s court to regain her conjugal rights. Before that, on September 1, Israt filed a case against Al Amin in two different sections, alleging dowry and women abuse. On September 7, he filed a case against Al Amin on the same charge in Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shafiuddin’s court. The court took cognizance of the case and issued a summons to him to appear in court.

Following the order, on September 27, Al Amin surrendered before Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shafiuddin’s court and applied for bail through a lawyer. At the end of that hearing, the judge granted his bail on a surety of Tk 5,000. Meanwhile, Al Amin was denying his wife’s complaint from the beginning. Finally, he held a press conference on September 9 and made various allegations against his wife. He claimed that his wife intended to destroy his career by indulging in extramarital affairs. Al Amin said in the press conference, “I am busy with domestic and national cricket. Have to stay out of the house most of the time. And my wife lives with her parents. She closes the door in the middle of the night and talks to her husband on a video call. Several phones have also been broken due to many fights over them.

According to the complaint, Al Amin did not provide education and maintenance to his two children and wife due to his addiction to Iraqiya. He sent a picture taken with a woman to Israt Jahan and told her that he would not marry her. Since then, no inquiry has been made for 2 years.

Al Amin divorces her unilaterally against the ill will of her parents, which is not effective at all. After getting the news of the divorce, he tried to contact her repeatedly but failed. Their family life is barren without Al Amin. Israt said that he filed this case to restore married life in such a situation.

Earlier, on September 1, Israt had filed a case against Al Amin under two different lines, alleging dowry and women abuse. After that, on September 7, Israt filed a second case against Al Amin in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shafiuddin. The court took cognizance of the case and issued a summons to Al Amin to appear in court. Following this, on September 27, Al Amin surrendered to Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shafiuddin’s court and applied for bail. After the hearing that day, the judge granted him bail till October 6 on a surety of Tk 5,000.

In the third phase, Israt filed a case against Al Amin to regain conjugal rights.

Earlier, Al-Amin’s wife Israt Jahan filed the case in Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shafi Uddin’s court on September 7, claiming the right to live together, monthly maintenance, and children’s expenses. The court issued a summons to Nay al-Amin to appear before the court during the hearing of the case.

According to the statement of the case, Israt Jahan and Al-Amin were married according to Islamic Sharia on December 26, 2012. They have two sons. The elder son is studying KG in English version at Mirpur Cantonment Public School and College. For quite some time, Al-Amin did not provide for his wife and children and did not look for him.

For two years the accused did not inquire about the plaintiff and did not stay at home regularly. Due to this Israt filed the case demanding monthly maintenance along with the right to live peacefully in the homestead along with her two children. 40,000 for living, maintenance of two children, and 60,000 takas per month for education in English medium are mentioned in the case.

Last August 25, around 10:30 pm, Al-Amin came home and demanded Tk 2 million for dowry from his wife. When Israt Jahan refused to pay, Al-Amin beat her and injured her in various parts of her body. Israt Jahan called 999 for help and the police came and rescued her. Later Israt Jahan was treated at Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital. A case was also filed in Mirpur Model Police Station on September 1 in this incident.

Last September 3, Al-Amin told his mother that he will not marry Israt and will not support the children or divorce her if necessary.

Al-Amin told reporters that he is mentally disturbed. He will tell everything by holding a press conference on Wednesday.

On September 3, pacer Al Amin Hossain’s wife Israt Jahan filed a case against him for dowry. A case has been filed against him under the Women and Child Abuse Prevention Act.

The SI said that the accused Al-Amin Hossain is absconding on the charge of torturing, beating, and kicking his wife out with children for dowry. He was not found when he went to Al-Amin’s house on Mirpur-2 Road. The operation to arrest him is continuing. His wife Israt Jahan filed a written complaint against pacer Al Amin at Mirpur Model Police Station on Thursday. A case was registered on Friday based on the written complaint.

Regarding not finding Al-Amin, his uncle-in-law told the media that Al-Amin has been absconding since the case. He ran away from home. So far there is no trace of him. He is also not available on the phone. The police searched for him but could not arrest him.
Meanwhile, pacer Al-Amin’s wife Israt Jahan has put all the terrible allegations against him. The qualification was held at Gate No. 1 of Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla Stadium on Sunday.

Israt claims that Al-Amin has a relationship with another girl. Israt demanded his arrest and exemplary punishment by describing Al-Amin as a woman abuser, greedy for money, and woman under the banner of human bonds.
In this regard, Israt Jahan said, “I don’t know whether Al-Amin is married to that girl or not. I didn’t get the cabin name either. But there are many pictures of Al-Amin with that girl.”

He said, “Where will I go now with my two children? My only wish now is to have a good family with my children.” It should be noted that Al Amin and Israt Jahan, who has been out of the national team for a long time, have been married for more than 12 years. They have two sons. The elder son is 6 years old and the younger son is 4 and half years old.

Earlier, Al Amin was punished for disorderly conduct. Apart from this, he also caused controversy due to his indecent behavior on the field at various times.

However, Al-Amin denied all the allegations of his wife. He dismissed the matter as a ‘bit of trouble’. In an interview given to a private television, cricketer Al-Amin said that these are lies. “We live together with my parents. There wasn’t anything like that,â€?he said.

When asked about physical abuse, he said, “We are husband and wife. There may be some trouble. It is not such a big thing.â€?Al-Amin’s wife Israt Jahan complained, “Al-Amin wanted to know if I brought Tk 20 lakh as dowry when I came home on the night of August 25. Al-Amin claimed that his wife went to the hospital on the night of August 25 but did not torture her. He said, ‘She went to the hospital, but was not admitted. If there was an admission, then there would be documents. That day she slipped and fell. Later my father took her to the hospital. Now my wife and children are with me. She may be saying something out of spite or anger. There is no problem between us.’
