Shakib Al Hasan came to Dhaka for the second time during the ongoing Ireland series in Sylhet. Although he came for his graduation convocation last time, this time he came to sign a contract with Biman Bangladesh Airlines. The national flag carrier announced Tiger Allrounder as its brand ambassador on Tuesday (March 21). Earlier in the day, Biman Bangladesh in a press release informed about the signing of an agreement with Shakib on the branding issue.

The official agreement was signed between the two parties when Shakib appeared at the organization’s central office at Balaka Bhawan in Kurmitola in the capital today. Shakib set foot in Dhaka for the second time during the ongoing three-match series against Ireland in Sylhet. Before this, Shakib attended the American International University of Bangladesh (AIUB) convocation and received his bachelor’s degree on March 19, the day after the first ODI game. The next day he joined the team again and played the second ODI. Meanwhile, the third ODI will be played on Thursday (March 23).
