Earlier, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the prize money for the champion, runner-up, and best player of the tournament.

The best player in the final will get a prize of Tk 5 lakh. The best fielder of the tournament will get Tk 3 lakh, the highest run scorer will get Tk 5 lakh and the highest wicket-taker will get Tk 5 lakh. Apart from this, the Player of the Tournament will get a prize of Tk 10 lakh. The champion team of the ninth edition of BPL will get Tk 2 crore and the runner-up team will get Tk 1 crore.

It is to be noted that this is the first time Sylhet has reached the final of BPL. But this is the fifth final for captain Mashrafe. Earlier, he played in four finals for different teams and won the title every time. On the other hand, Comilla Victorians reached the final for the fourth time. As a team, Comilla won the title every time in the final of the previous three rounds. Captain Imrul has a third title in front of him.
