The Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association (PVCA) has unveiled the impressive lineup for the inaugural MCW Over 40s Cricket Global Cup, set to commence in Karachi later this month. This eight-nation tournament is scheduled to run from September 19 to October 2, promising cricket enthusiasts a thrilling spectacle.

Among the distinguished former cricketers set to grace the tournament are none other than Shahid Afridi, Misbah-ul-Haq, and Abdul Razzaq. Their inclusion adds a significant layer of excitement to the event.

In addition to the trio of Afridi, Misbah, and Razzaq, the Pakistan squad will feature two more seasoned cricketers, the rapid bowler Mohammad Sami and the skilled batsman Hasan Raza.

Pakistan’s Tournament Journey Begins

Pakistan’s pursuit of the coveted title will commence with their opening match against the United States (USA) at the National Stadium on September 19. Fans can anticipate a fierce contest as Pakistan takes on a challenging opponent right from the start.

The MCW Over 40s Cricket Global Cup will not only showcase Pakistan’s cricketing prowess but also feature strong competitors from around the world, including teams from Australia, West Indies, Nepal, Hong Kong, Canada, and the UAE.

A total of 36 matches are scheduled across five different venues in Karachi, promising an action-packed tournament. Pakistan’s matches will exclusively unfold at the National Bank Stadium.
