Cricketer Al -Amin got 8 weeks anticipatory bail from the High Court in the case filed by his wife alleging torture for demanding a dowry of Tk 20 lakh.

In the case filed by wife Israt Jahan, The High Court applied anticipatory bail for Al-Amin on Tuesday. Rezaul Hasan and Judge Md. Atabullah High Court bench granted bail. After 8 weeks, the High Court ordered him to surrender before the judicial court.

Al-Amin told reporters that he is mentally disturbed. He will tell everything by holding a press conference on Wednesday.

On September 3, pacer Al Amin Hossain’s wife Israt Jahan filed a case against him for dowry. A case has been filed against him under the Women and Child Abuse Prevention Act.
