Jasprit Bumrah, aged 29, had temporarily left the Indian camp in Sri Lanka the previous Sunday to be with his wife, Sanjana Ganesan, in Mumbai for the birth of their child. Consequently, he missed India’s match against Nepal the following Monday.

During their encounter at the R Premadasa Stadium, Afridi presented a gift to Bumrah’s newborn baby, accompanied by warm wishes for the health and happiness of the India star’s new addition to the family.
