Ireland’s cricket team is coming to Bangladesh in March to play bilateral series for the first time. The two teams will play one Test and three ODIs and T20Is each. The Ireland Cricket Board announced the squad for the tri-series on Thursday (February 9). The Irish team will visit Sri Lanka after Bangladesh. At the same time, the country’s cricket board also announced the team for the tour of Lanka.

Before this, IrRand came to Bangladesh in 2008. The two teams played only three ODIs in the service. This time both the limited series will be outside Dhaka. On March 12, the Irish will set foot in Dhaka. There will be a three-match ODI series in Sylhet. The first ODI will be on March 18. The next two ODIs will be on March 20 and 23. From Sylhet, the destination of the two teams is Chittagong. On March 27, 29, and 31, three T20 matches will be held in Chittagong. The only test in Dhaka will start on April 4. With this Test, Ireland will return to long-distance cricket after three and a half years and the two teams will play a Test for the first time.
