Earlier, Al-Amin’s wife Israt Jahan filed the case in Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shafi Uddin’s court on September 7, claiming the right to live together, monthly maintenance, and children’s expenses. The court issued a summons to Nay al-Amin to appear before the court during the hearing of the case.

According to the statement of the case, Israt Jahan and Al-Amin were married according to Islamic Sharia on December 26, 2012. They have two sons. The elder son is studying KG in English version at Mirpur Cantonment Public School and College. For quite some time, Al-Amin did not provide for his wife and children and did not look for him.

For two years the accused did not inquire about the plaintiff and did not stay at home regularly. Due to this Israt filed the case demanding monthly maintenance along with the right to live peacefully in the homestead along with her two children. 40,000 for living, maintenance of two children, and 60,000 takas per month for education in English medium are mentioned in the case.

Last August 25, around 10:30 pm, Al-Amin came home and demanded Tk 2 million for dowry from his wife. When Israt Jahan refused to pay, Al-Amin beat her and injured her in various parts of her body. Israt Jahan called 999 for help and the police came and rescued her. Later Israt Jahan was treated at Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital. A case was also filed in Mirpur Model Police Station on September 1 in this incident.

Last September 3, Al-Amin told his mother that he will not marry Israt and will not support the children or divorce her if necessary.

Al-Amin told reporters that he is mentally disturbed. He will tell everything by holding a press conference on Wednesday.

On September 3, pacer Al Amin Hossain’s wife Israt Jahan filed a case against him for dowry. A case has been filed against him under the Women and Child Abuse Prevention Act.

However, Al-Amin denied all the allegations of his wife. He dismissed the matter as a ‘bit of trouble’. In an interview given to a private television, cricketer Al-Amin said that these are lies. “We live together with my parents. There wasn’t anything like that,â€?he said.

When asked about physical abuse, he said, “We are husband and wife. There may be some trouble. Al-Amin beat me and said that his family couldn’t pay so much money. Later, when I called 999, the police came and rescued me (Israt Jahan) and admitted me to the emergency department of the hospital in a bloody state.â€?/p>

Sohel Rana confirmed that when Israt Jahan called 999 that day, she was taken to hospital with injuries. Al-Amin claimed that his wife went to the hospital on the night of August 25 but did not torture her. He said, ‘She went to the hospital, but was not admitted. If there was an admission, then there would be documents. That day she slipped and fell. Later my father took her to the hospital. Now my wife and children are with me. She may be saying something out of spite or anger. There is no problem between us.’

It should be noted that Israt Jahan and Al- Amin, who has been out of the national team for a long time, have been married for more than 12 years. They have two sons. The elder son is 6 years old and the younger son is 4 and half years old. Earlier, Al-Amin was punished for disorderly conduct. Apart from this, he also caused controversy due to his indecent behavior on the field at various times.
