Another injury happened in the Australia camp. Jhye Richardson has been ruled out of the one-day series against India. He has a hamstring injury.

Richardson suffered a hamstring injury during the Big Bash last month. His injury has increased. As a result, he won’t be able to play in the Marsh Cup final against South Australia for Western Australia on March 10. Richardson was in the one-day team against India. Cricket Australia is yet to announce who will replace him in the squad if he is dropped.

Richardson was bought by Mumbai Indians for 1.5 crore rupees in the IPL auction this year. But the game is uncertain even for Rohit’s team. Mumbai has almost no hope of getting the injured Jasprit Bumrah. Another pacer Jofra Archer may not be able to play all the matches. This time uncertainty increased with the game of another pacer.

Richardson’s career has been hampered by injuries over the past few years. He suffered a shoulder injury in 2019. The injury-plagued him for the next two seasons. Richardson injured his ankle after taking 5 wickets in Adelaide against England in 2021. As a result, he had to stay out of the team again. He hasn’t been seen playing for the country since June 2022. His comeback was likely against India. But that didn’t happen.
