Madhya Pradesh, Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh reached the semifinals of Ranji Trophy with easy wins. Madhya Pradesh is in the last four after losing to Punjab. Along with the win, Mumbai set a record in first-class cricket. Prithvi Shara lost to Uttarakhand by 725 runs. Uttar Pradesh won by 5 wickets in a close battle with Karnataka.
