Zimbabwe Cricket has announced a powerful squad for their six-match One Day series against Pakistan A, which kicks off today at Harare Sports Club. All of the games will take place at the same venue.

The selectors have put together a 15-player squad that closely resembles the team that Zimbabwe will field to compete for one of the two remaining spots at the World Cup, as the team prepares for the ICC World Cup qualifiers scheduled for next month in Bulawayo and Harare.
This presents an opportunity for him to impress the selectors and earn a place in the qualifiers’ squad.

In addition to Williams, Ervine, Madhevere, and Muzarabani, the Zimbabwe team is expected to include several other players in the upcoming matches against a strong Pakistan A side.

Pakistan has put together a 16-man squad that includes eight players who have previously represented their national team. They will be relying on the form of Mehran Mumtaz, who took 15 wickets in two four-day matches against Zimbabwe A.

Saim Ayub, who is set to strengthen Pakistan’s batting, expressed his excitement for the series on the Pakistan Cricket Board website, acknowledging that the team has been working hard on all aspects of their game to ensure they are well-prepared for the challenge ahead.
