When Shakib-Tamim were sweating it out in the ODI series against England at the home of cricket, the second innings announcement came from their teammate Saifuddin. This all-rounder of the national team has chosen Kazi Fatema Tuz Zara as his wife. His marriage ceremony was completed in his hometown Feni on Thursday. After marriage, he asked everyone for blessings in his new life by posting on Facebook.
Zara is the preferred bride of Saifuddin’s family who passed the HSC examination and applied for admission to Hons. On Wednesday at 7:30 pm, the ceremony of wearing yellow on them was completed.

Saifuddin and Zara’s wedding ceremony was completed at the Grand Sultan Convention Hall in Feni on Thursday evening. Apart from the relatives of the two families, people from different classes and professions came as invited guests to the wedding ceremony. Freshly completed BPL cricketer Saif is the son of former policeman Mohammad Abdul Khalek of Shibpur village in Fazilpur union of Sadar upazila.

Saifuddin played the last ODI for the national team in June 2021. He was out of the national team for a long time due to an injury. Before the T20 World Cup, he played in the tri-nation T20 series in New Zealand. He was not included in the World Cup team when he was not fully fit.

Saifuddin is not in the team for the ongoing England series at home. The Dhaka Premier League (DPL) will start the day after the end of this series. In this retirement, the right-handed pacer got married as per the family’s choice.
