There are two surprises in the 15-man ODI and T20 England squad for the tour of Bangladesh. Somerset batsman Tom Abel and Leicestershire spinner Rehan Ahmed have got a chance in both England’s ODI and T20 teams. Rehan Ahmed has previous Test playing experience. He took 7 wickets in his debut Test against Pakistan last December. That form may have earned him a place in white ball cricket.

Meanwhile, Tom Abel has not yet played for England despite being called up earlier. Like Rehan Ahmed, he also made it to the squad in both formats for this series. Jos Buttler will lead England in both formats. Meanwhile, after the injury, Shakib Mahmood got a place in the England team again.
