This marks a historic moment as the USA is all set to host the T20 World Cup for the very first time. The venues selected for this grand event are Grand Prairie in Dallas, Broward County in Florida, and Nassau County in New York.

The USA and the West Indies were jointly awarded the hosting rights for this global tournament in November 2021 by the ICC Board. The selection of these venues followed an extensive evaluation of various options.

To accommodate the scale of this event, modular stadium solutions will be deployed to expand the facilities. In particular, a 34,000-seat modular stadium will be constructed in Eisenhower Park, Nassau County, New York, pending the acquisition of the required permit next month.

Grand Prairie and Broward County will also undergo expansions in size using modular stadium solutions to increase seating, media facilities, and premium hospitality areas, subject to final agreements.

Geoff Allardice, Chief Executive of the ICC, expressed his excitement about the upcoming T20 World Cup, which will be the largest ever staged.

He emphasized the strategic importance of the USA market and the growing awareness of cricket’s massive fanbase, which has the power to unite diverse communities in the country.

Allardice mentioned the use of modular stadium technology to create world-class cricket venues, especially in Dallas and Florida, expanding the capacity to accommodate more fans.

Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman shared his enthusiasm for partnering with the ICC to host the T20 World Cup, highlighting the event’s global appeal and the anticipation of welcoming fans from all around the world to Eisenhower Park.
