Why didn’t Afif bat?

Afif Hossain was regularly batting at three. He was also getting runs. Chittagong Challengers had no reason to remove him from the preferred position.

But in pursuit of the target of 180 runs given by Rangpur Riders in Mirpur, Afif was not seen at number three. Only for three, the left-handed batsman did not bat in the match which was all out for 124 runs in 16.3 overs.
