2007 – Inaugural T20 World Cup Final
The perfect finale to the first T20 World Cup in South Africa. With up to three matches a day, the fortnight-long tournament was intense and thrilling. The final between India and Pakistan saw India set 158 to win after Gautam Gambhir’s 75. Pakistan looked down and out at 77 for 6, but Misbah-ul-Haq brought them back with three sixes in an over off Harbhajan Singh. Ultimately, Misbah chose the wrong shot, Sreesanth caught him, and India claimed their first global title since 1983.
